You must go here first to unlock the gate to another optional region, Veithurgard Summary Stone Falls is an optional area that can be docked from the Lake of Nine in the north east. Note that some collectibles like Lore Markers are technically found in the surrounding regions. Many towers are a part of this region, but most of the actual shores accessible from this lake lead to other optional named regions. The Shores of Nine is part of the Lake of Nine, basically a large hub area. This includes everything from just beyond the Wildwoods to the Witch's Cave. The River Pass is where you must travel through on your way to the Shores of Nine. The Wildwoods is where you begin God of War, and include a few places that you can't explore until much later in the game. The following summary encompasses all of the regions found in Midgard.
It's also the main area you will explore in God of War. Midgard is one of the Nine Realms and is the realm Kratos currently calls home.
